I am just back from a great trip in the USA which included Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Detroit and Los Angeles. Interesting to see the diversity in retail offerings from specialised supermarkets in all the cities we visited. Supermarkets remain key channels for beef and lamb purchases with Australian meat prices proving to be a barrier.

Bill has just returned from a week in Dubai attending Gulfood 2020. There were over 100,000 attendees from across the globe. Many interesting meetings and some great opportunities for the year ahead. Bill will be back over in the Middle East to visit again in the coming months.

Amazing 70mm here at Hillgrove last week. Soft, gentle, soaking rain with no run-off. Incredible kick-start to Autumn. Almost nil rain forecast across the region of southern NSW over the next couple of weeks.
A 2.5 year-old collie bitch made just over $37,000 at the Skipton Auction Mart in England held in February, setting a new world record for the highest price ever paid for a working dog. Surely 'Megan' the black and white sheep dog has an electric blanket and doesn't sleep a night outside. Wow. Must be a very handy dog.
