OUR HISTORY

For over 30 years, the Kenny’s Creek team has been central to the promotion and development of Angus cattle within Australia. Providing clients with commercially sustainable Angus genetics, Kenny’s Creek has been the defining contributor to our sought after KC Natural beef.

In 2010 Sam and Nikki Burton Taylor bought the butcher shop in Boorowa and transformed a traditional country butcher shop into a multi-platform retail business. It’s premium offering was the butcher’s unique supply of grass fed Angus beef and local lamb.

Purchasing steers back from David Smithers (a regular Kenny’s Creek Angus bull and female client) in the early years Sam soon identified some of the key traits in high performing grass fed cattle. The most important of these were good genetics, a rising plane of nutrition and growing steers out to a carcass weight of 280 to 300kgs.

KC Natural was established in 2014 after Sam’s first trip to China. The first containers of beef were shipped in January 2014 with cattle from Breakfast Creek Station. Many shipments and trips all over the world have since followed.
